The Fate's Chosen

The "Fate's Chosen” challenge calls upon players to showcase their skills with the three champions in the Fatemakers and Fatebreakers skinline: Nasus, Taric, and Malzahar. Each champion has a unique objective that must be completed to earn exclusive rewards.

For Taric, it’s all about achieving the most healing, while for Malzahar you must exercise your powers of crowd control to the max. As for Nasus, you must achieve the highest possible damage.

By completing objectives for one, two, or all three champions and maintaining your place at the top of the leaderboard, you can earn the Fatemaker and Fatebreaker skins themselves, or hextech chest & key bundles.

Challenge Rules

“The Fate’s Chosen” is a challenge that tests your mastery with the champions represented in the Fatemakers and Fatebreakers skinline. Each champion has its own objective, which you have to complete and secure your place in the highest ranks of the leaderboard.

• Eligible countries are KSA, UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Libya and Palestine.
  • Please note that the home country in your account should be set to any of the above countries in order to join the challenge. If your home country is incorrectly set, please reach out to Player Support for adjustment.
• Scores will only be tracked for your Draft, Flex and Ranked matches on Summoner’s Rift. You will not get points if you participate in any other game mode.
• Each champion will have their individual objective as follows:
  • Taric: Achieve the highest total heal in a single game while playing as Taric. Tiebreaker will be the average KDA.
  • Malzahar: Achieve the highest time cc'ing enemy champions in a single game while playing as Malzahar. Tiebreaker will be the average KDA.
  • Nasus: Deal the highest total damage in a single game as Nasus. Tiebreaker will be the average KDA.
• The challenge will start on the 21st of April, and will end on the 28th of April at 12:00 GMT

You are only allowed to participate with one account. If the challenge organizers find that you've participated with multiple, they shall be entitled - at their own discretion - to remove your duplicate accounts from the challenge and/or disqualify you completely.

General Conduct

These are the general rules that should be followed on all challenges.

• All participants must observe Riot’s Code of Conduct and League of Legends TOS at all times.
• You are allowed to participate using only one account.
• Toxic behavior, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties or removal from the challenge.
• Participants must engage fairly and avoid cheating, account sharing, any form of match-fixing, or any exploits that undermine the competition.
• The FTW team may review match replays to ensure fair play.
• Riot Games reserves the right to enforce all rules and penalize any player who is found to be in violation of them. Penalties shall include but not be limited to:
  • Disqualification from the challenge.
  • In-game penalties based on the nature of the violation and in line with Riot Games TOS.

Rewards

There will be different rewards based on your placement on the leaderboard. The first ten place winners will receive the skins for the objective they completed. Example: if you are among the top 10 players who completed the Nasus challenge, you will only receive the Fatemaker Nasus skin.

Players placing between 11th and 50th place will receive two hextech chests and keys, whereas players between 51st and 100th place will receive one hextech chest and key bundle.

• Digital rewards will be delivered at the end of the challenge via the Rewards section on the FTW platform on the player’s Profile.
• Riot may offer alternative rewards if original prizes are unavailable.

Fetching Data

The FTW platform uses official Riot Developer APIs for our games for in-game challenges to collect data and make necessary calculations to show on the various leaderboards.

• How and when game data is collected via APIs (e.g. every 30 minutes).
• Discrepancies between API data and in-game stats.
• Handling of leaderboard corrections if needed.
