Create a video edit that is under 30 seconds in length, using official broadcast footage from 2025 VCT Global Events or International Leagues. Whether it’s a compilation of headshots, a slow-motion edit of one kill, or any other insane thing you want to make. As for the music, you’ll have two playlists you can use to select a track from (see the Challenge rules for more info).

Champions of Champions Rules

To celebrate our community’s creativity alongside the competition at VALORANT Champions Paris, we’re launching something new: Champions of Champions. Whether you’re an artist, cosplayer, video editor, or all of the above, we want you to show us what you got and submit your work for an opportunity to represent your region.

By participating, you agree to follow these rules and Riot’s Terms of Service. All submissions must follow the spirit of the challenge. Riot may take action, including disqualification, at its sole discretion if an entry or participant violates the rules, Terms of Service, or community standards. All decisions are final.

Category Guidelines

“Champions of Champions” comprises 3 categories in which you can submit creative entries: Fan Art, Cosplay, and Esport Edits.

ESPORTS EDIT: SHOW US YOUR EDITING SKILLS

Create a video edit that is under 30 seconds in length, using official broadcast footage from 2025 VCT Global Events or International Leagues. Whether it’s a compilation of headshots, a slow-motion edit of one kill, or any other insane thing you want to make. As for the music, you’ll have two playlists you can use to select a track from (or tracks, who knows?):

VALORANT Creator-Safe Playlist - If you select tracks from this list, you can use the music in your video edit in accordance with Riot’s Creator Safe Guidelines, and your video should not receive any copyright strikes or monetization claims (so that you will be able to keep any ad revenue from your video).
VALORANT UGC-Friendly Playlist - If you select any tracks from this list, you can use the music in your video edit in accordance with Riot’s Legal Jibber Jabber, and your video should not receive any copyright strikes, but the video may receive a monetization claim from the publisher(s) or recording owner(s) of that track, and those entities would retain the ad revenue from your video. Although these tracks are not “Creator-Safe,” to avoid copyright strikes, please also refer to the Creator Safe Guidelines to ensure your content is not “commercially exploiting” the music itself.

General Guidelines All Categories

Any artwork, photo, or video submissions that do not follow the rules below will be removed from the competition:

No AI-generated or produced artwork. All submissions must be an original creation without the use of AI.
No racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, bullying, or harassment of other players or Rioters through text, imagery, or any other form.
No sponsorship, branding, or promotional material unrelated to Riot Games titles.
No pornography, explicit content, or graphic depictions of violence.
No content that violates local laws or regulation.
No use of copyrighted material without permission, including music, videos, or images specified in guidelines or not owned by the creator or Riot Games.
No encouragement or depiction of dangerous, illegal, or self-destructive behavior.
No hate symbols, extremist imagery, or content associated with hate groups.
No political or controversial messaging that promotes divisive or inflammatory content.

All submissions must reflect the spirit of the challenge and be appropriate for a global audience. Riot Games will determine eligibility and may disqualify any content it deems inappropriate, off-topic, or otherwise inconsistent with these guidelines, at its sole discretion.

Submission Guidelines and Process

To submit your entry:

Post your content on social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
Visit the FTW website, select the appropriate category for your entry, and follow the instructions to connect your social media accounts and submit the URL to your post.
The URL of your posted entry must be submitted on the FTW Platform under the relevant category (this can include old social media posts - they don’t have to be posted during this challenge period).
For X, TikTok, and YouTube URLs, participants will need to connect their social media platforms prior to submitting their entry in FTW. Facebook and Instagram URLs don’t require connection and must be from a public account that allows embeds.
Riot is not responsible for entries submitted to the wrong category.
Champions of Champions submissions will begin on 15th August 2025 at 8:00AM PT and will end on 22nd August 2025 at 11:59PM PT.

Voting Rounds

There will be three rounds of competition, with advancing contestants selected as part of a mix between community votes and a Riot judging panel. Submissions will be judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and execution, with fan voting considered as part of the overall evaluation. The judging and final determination of who moves to the next round will be at the sole discretion of the judges. Players can connect to their Riot account to vote for their favorite submissions for any region.

Round 1 (Group Stage): September 12-22

The top 25 for each region will be featured on their respective page for players to vote.
Players have until September 22nd to vote for their 5 favorite submissions.

Round 2 (Playoffs): September 25-29

The top 8 for each region will have moved on to round 2 for the next round of voting.
Players have until September 29th to vote for their favorite submission.

Round 3 (Finals): October 3-4

The top 4 for each region will advance for the final round of voting.
Players have until October 4th to vote for their favorite submission.

Winners

The winner of each category will be announced at VALORANT Champions Paris Grand Finals on October 5th and have their work featured at Riot HQ.

Champions of Champions Usage of Submissions

By participating in this contest, you agree that Riot Games and its affiliates may use your submission (including your likeness, images, videos, or written materials) to administer the contest, as well as for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes featuring your work on contest sites, social media, broadcasts, in-game, or other Riot or third-party platforms and channels, and may also include creating physical versions for display or other promotional use, including paid media.

To the extent your submission includes personal information—such as your name, likeness, tag, Riot ID, or similar identifiers—Riot Games may use this information to administer the Champions of Champions promotion, including for voting, winner selection and announcement, as well as for future promotion and marketing of Riot products. Please note that this information may be publicly viewable and accessible worldwide as part of your submission.

Eligibility

Champions of Champions is open to participants with a valid VALORANT account in all regions except for Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Quebec, or any other region where this contest is void.
