RULES & REGULATIONS
FTW DACH Ranked Challenge
For any individual taking part in this challenge, we expect certain rules and regulations to be followed. This extends to encouraging audiences’ to respect the same, though individuals will not be held personally accountable for audience behaviour. Riot reserves the right to apply penalties, and, in serious or repeated cases, remove individuals from the challenge if found to be breaking the rules.
INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIOUR
- All players are expected to follow the standard Code of Conduct guidelines in-game.
- Any behaviour towards other players that Riot deems unacceptable may result in penalisation and/or removal from the challenge and FTW platform overall.
CHALLENGE OBJECTIVES
General:
- You need to create a FTW profile to participate in the challenge.
- You must choose one captain (team) to join the challenge.
- Once your choice is confirmed, you won’t be able to switch to another captain.
- Games can be launched until 10th of September 11:59 PM.
- Results will be available once the last match is completed.
- If a game runs too long, it may not be counted in the final ranking.
- The challenge is only available on the EUW server.
- Individual performance is tracked in the community leaderboard and added to the team’s average score.
- Pre-made Duo’s are allowed.
- Trust is placed in players to engage with the spirit of the challenge and not exploit methods to boost numbers in a way that others would view as unfair or to use alternative accounts.
- Riot reserves the right to review replays of the games and take action in case the game was not played in the spirit of fair play and good fun.
- Regardless of the amount of LP gained for that specific match, if a player is promoted to a higher tier, FTW calculates LP gain by comparing their starting and current tier/LP. A promotion will only appear only as the LP difference in the new tier (e.g. Platinum I 99 LP -> Emerald IV 1LP will be recorded asa +2LP).
- Prizes will be distributed to players when the challenge has ended.
- Players must play at least 5 Ranked games to be eligible for rewards.
Dates:
- August 27 - September 10: Summoner’s Rift Ranked
Objectives:
- August 27 - September 10
- Goal: Achieve the most amount of LP gain. LP loss will be considered in the calculations.
- The average amount of LP gain from the community will be added on top of the LP gain of the influencer.
- Tiebreaker: Winrate.
FETCHING DATA
- The FTW platform uses official League of Legends Match APIs to collect data and make necessary calculations to show on the various leaderboards.
- Data is pulled and calculated every 30 minutes - if a match starts and ends within the 30 minute window, it will be fetched within that batch. If a match starts but does not end within that 30 minute window, it will be included in the following batch.
- Some data displayed at the end of the game in the League of Legends client might differ slightly from the data pulled via APIs. If there are discrepancies that would affect the final standings of leaderboards, we will investigate on a case by case basis.
REPORTING ISSUES
- For participants having technical difficulties or have complaints reach out to Player Support.
- For inappropriate usernames or illegal content, please utilise the Submit a Report button if you are from an EU country.
