ALPHA VS. OMEGA CONFLICT

It's a fight for the future of two realities, and you've got to pick a side. Choose Alpha or Omega, or take a quiz to see which side you're most aligned with. Then just start playing.

Each week, new global challenges will unlock -- pitting you against the other side in a competition to earn the most points and reap the rewards. Winning sides will claim exclusive Player Cards, and those who earn the most points at the end of the event will score some physical merchandise on top of helping their team.

Creators will be battling for their sides and you can find your favorite and see their progress on the Creator Leaderboards.

In case of any discrepancies between this summary article and the Official Rules, the Official Rules prevail.

Summary:

Participation & Eligibility

• You must have a valid Riot Games Account
• You are thirteen (13) years of age (fifteen (15) for South Korea; sixteen (16) for EMEA and Japan) or older at time of entry. If under 18 (or the age of majority in your country of residence), you must be represented by their parent or legal guardian at the time of registration
• You are not a resident of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Sudan, Venezuela, Greece, Italy, Romania, Quebec, Myanmar; or of countries or regions where VALORANT is published by a local publisher (e.g., China), other than Taiwan and Vietnam
• You are not employed by or otherwise affiliated with Riot Games

Challenge Timeline

The challenge starts on 7th January, 2026 at 12:00am PT and ends on 3rd February, 2026 at 11:59pm PT.

How to Participate & Earn Points?

Join the challenge by choosing one of the factions: Alpha or Omega. Play VALORANT matches and earn points towards your faction. Players will earn faction points based on the points they accumulate in each weekly leaderboard. Once you select your faction, it cannot be changed for the 4-week duration of the event.

Weekly Challenges

• Week 1: Highest number of kills with Bandit. Timing: 1/7 (12:00am PT) - 1/13 (11:59pm PT).
• Week 2: Highest number of wins in All Random One Site. Timing: 1/14 (12:00am PT) - 1/20 (11:59pm PT).
• Week 3: Highest number of assists in any game mode. Timing: 1/21 (12:00am PT) - 1/27 (11:59pm PT).
• Week 4: Highest number of points for competitive matches (win = 3 points, loss = 1 point). Timing: 1/28 (12:00am PT) - 2/3 (11:59pm PT)

Tiebreaker for two or more players with the same score will be their ACS (Average Combat Score) during the weekly challenge.

How to Win?

The faction with the highest total points at the end of each weekly challenge will be deemed the winner and given a ‘participation’ reward.

Individual participants who performed the best on the challenge leaderboards will be granted additional rewards.

Event Leaderboard:

• Top 10 from Alpha
• Top 10 from Omega

Creator Leaderboard:

• Top 1 Creator from each of the Americas, EMEA, and Pacific region

What are the prizes?

All Entrants from the winning faction who play a minimum of 3 games that week:

• One Exclusive Player Card per weekly challenge, redeemable via a redemption code - ARV $0.00.

Top 20 participants (10 from each faction) on the overall event leaderboard at the end of the contest:

PC Players:

• V26 // WHY WE FIGHT BACK XL Mousepad (estimated Average Market Value (“ARV”) $24.99) and
• V26 // WHY WE FIGHT BACK HyperX Keyboard (estimated ARV $104.99)

Console Players:

• VALORANT Custom Console Controller + Apparel (estimated ARV $130.00)

Top 1 creator from the creator leaderboard per region:

PC Players:

• V26 // WHY WE FIGHT BACK XL Mousepad (estimated ARV $24.99) and
• V26 // WHY WE FIGHT BACK HyperX Keyboard (estimated ARV $104.99)

Console Player:

• VALORANT Custom Console Controller + Apparel (estimated ARV $130.00)

*Note that participants from some countries, including Vietnam and Korea, are ineligible for physical rewards and, in case of winning a physical reward as outlined above, will receive an amount of VALORANT Points equal to the ARV of the physical reward instead.

How to claim rewards?

Eligible participants will be able to access in-game rewards, by visiting the “Rewards” tab within the “Profile” section of the FTW platform to view and copy their redemption codes. Redemption codes will expire after three (3) months from the delivery date.

We will contact physical reward winners via the FTW platform and/or email. If we are unable to deliver the physical prizes to you, we will provide you with an amount of VALORANT Points equal to the ARV of the physical reward.

The total ARV of all prizes awarded in this contest is a maximum of $130.00.
