In Skirmish: Ascension we're testing your mettle and tracking your progress.

With a streamlined weapon selection, limited Agent pool, and only one Ability available; it's a laser-focused match that always feels like a do-or-die clutch.

Official Rules

By participating in the Skirmish: Ascension Leaderboard, you agree to these Official Rules.

Participation & Eligibility

You must have a valid Riot Games Account to participate.
Not available in China.
Riot reserves the right to disqualify participants or take other action at its discretion for cheating, match manipulation, or any violation of these Rules or Riot policies. All decisions are final.

Challenge Timeline

The challenge starts on April 29 when Skirmish queues are available in your region and ends on June 22, 2026 at 11:59pm PT (the “Challenge Period”).

How to Participate?

To participate, you must sign in to the FTW website and register to join the Skirmish: Ascension Leaderboard. Participation is not automatic, and only matches played after you register will count toward leaderboard placement.

Skirmish includes separate leaderboards for 1v1 and 2v2 modes. Rankings are tracked independently for each mode and are not shared between them. You must play the applicable mode to appear on its corresponding leaderboard.

Once registered, you must complete three Skirmish placement matches before your rank and score are displayed on the applicable leaderboard. After completing your placement matches, continue playing Skirmish matches during the Challenge Period to compete for leaderboard placement and earn rewards based on match completion and your leaderboard standing. Rankings are determined based on your win/loss record and weighted according to the strength of the opponent. If you consistently win matches against stronger opponents, you'll continue to climb the ranks!

In the event of a tie, the player with the highest number of games played will receive the higher leaderboard placement.

What are the rewards?

Combat Ready Player Card - Awarded upon completion of 3 Skirmish placement matches in a single queue (either 1v1 or 2v2).
Trade Me Player Card - Awarded upon completion of 15 Skirmish matches in either queue (1v1 and 2v2).
Titles are awarded based on the highest rank achieved on the Skirmish leaderboard during the Challenge Period.
- Skirmish Competitor - Gold to Platinum
- Skirmish Expert - Diamond to Immortal
- Skirmish Legend - Radiant

Player Cards and Titles will be delivered in the form of text codes via the FTW platform’s “Rewards” tab. Participants are responsible for redeeming any codes before any stated expiration date on Riot’s Code Redemption page or in VALORANT’s game client.

Reporting Issues

Players who have complaints or are looking to report other participants on grounds of DSA or inappropriate name, please use the Submit a Report button on FTW.
